Our growing firm is seeking a well-qualified senior attorney who can handle commercial litigation/trial work, work as a team, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. We ensure you have the tools to thrive both personally and professionally through:Hybrid Work Flexibility: A modern approach to the traditional law firm environment.Performance-Based Rewards: Competitive compensation paired with bonuses that recognize your hard work.Professional Development: One to one menotring; CLE coverage; and other support Comprehensive BenefitsHealthcare: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Retirement: 401(k) or retirement savings plan with a generous employer match .PTO/Substitution Work Day Compensation:$150,000 - $185,000 yearly base + bonus Responsibilities:Lead litigation strategy for partnership/shareholder disputes, derivative claims, and other commercial litigation issues such as breach of contract claims.Handle TRO and TI hearings, including emergency filings, expedited discovery, evidentiary hearings, and enforcement actions.Manage all aspects of case development: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.Advise business clients on dispute-prevention strategies, corporate governance, and settlement structuring.Supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and staff on case tasks. Qualifications:Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitrationAdmitted to local and state bar associationsAble to work independently while handling multiple filesAt least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorneyPersuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skillsJ.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.7+ years of litigation experience, with a significant focus on partnership/shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty, business divorce, and emergency injunctive relief (TRO/TI hearings).Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (or willing to waive in).First-chair trial, injunction hearing, or arbitration experience strongly preferred.Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Strong business acumen and ability to advise clients on both legal and financial aspects of disputes.
