Description:Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking an LPN / RN Charge Nurse to join our team!Full-time, night shift (7P-7A) position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more.Prepares, administers, and records prescribed medications as administered.Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner.Administers medications, treatments, IV's, catheters, and obtains blood samples as necessary.Evaluates nursing care with emphasis on medication administration, prescribed treatments, and patient responses; consults with supervisory nurse in the establishment of short-term and long-range goals for patients.Reports adverse reactions of medications and/or treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures.Provides bedside care for a wide variety of patients.Participates in discharge planning as needed.
