Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and special education, with a focus on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering the growth of each childs unique abilities. DutiesDevelop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Provide individualized support to students with disabilities, including those with autism and developmental disabilities, through tailored teaching approaches. Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to monitor student progress and adapt instruction accordingly. Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring special education services. Engage in early intervention strategies to support the developmental needs of children. Foster literacy education through innovative teaching methods that promote reading and writing skills. Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning. ExperienceA degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience working with children in various educational settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching practices. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is essential. Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and early intervention practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Background in teaching physical education or Montessori methods can be beneficial.
