The Transportation Project Engineer will serve as a key member of our transportation team, contributing to high-impact public and private roadway and transportation projects across the region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing construction documents and supporting the design and delivery of public infrastructure projects for local and state agency clients. Core responsibilities include preparing plans, reports, maps, drawings, cross-sections, and specifications associated with roadway, drainage, and traffic control improvements. Key Responsibilities:- Prepare construction documents for roadway and related civil infrastructure projects- Design roadway geometry, drainage systems, traffic control plans, cross-sections, and erosion/sediment control plans- Support preparation of technical reports, specifications, and permitting submittals- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on technical direction and quality control- Review and interpret engineering drawings, field data, and survey information- Maintain project documentation and assist with coordination of design revisions Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 2 years of experience in roadway/transportation designThis position may be filled at Level I, II, or III, depending on qualifications and years of experienceCandidates with additional experience beyond the minimum are strongly encouraged to applyEngineer Intern (E.I. / E.I.T.) certification required; P.E. license preferred or in progressProficiency with Bentley design software (Power InRoads and OpenRoads Designer) is requiredStrong working knowledge of general civil engineering principlesExcellent analytical and technical writing skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment PI604587102280-29400-38529799
