We are a privately owned, three-doctor, small animal practice in beautiful South Snohomish, just minutes away from stretches of local farms, rivers, and trails. You're also only a 15 min drive from downtown Snohomish, Woodinville, Everett, and Mill Creek. We have three exam rooms, a large reception area, as well as a spacious upstairs breakroom and kitchen.We're searching for someone who is:Calm and focused under pressureOpen to feedback and eager to learnPrepared to work and focused on improvingDetail-oriented and dependableDriven by a strong work ethicPositive and team-orientedExcited about surgeryLooking to expand their career into a Lead Technician role As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you'll play a crucial role in providing top-notch care for our patients—from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Our team members are cross-trained to enhance both the client experience and their own professional growth.Veterinary Technician Responsibilities IncludeProviding pre and post-operative care with attention to comfort and safetyMonitoring anesthesia in pets ranging from pediatric to geriatric stages of life and healthAssisting with orthopedic and soft tissue surgeriesPerforming full body and dental radiographsAssisting in dental procedures including local anesthetic blocks, single root extractions, and suturing depending on comfort levelPlacing IV catheters, inducing anesthesia, and assisting with recoveryCollecting diagnostic samples and performing lab submissionsFilling medications and calculating dosages accuratelyPerforming patient admissions and discharges with clear client communicationMaintaining instrument and equipment careSupporting a clean, organized, and Fear Free environmentRequirementsCurrent WA State Veterinary Technician License (required)Strong skills in restraint, venipuncture, and anesthesia monitoringComfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and working on your feetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA calm, compassionate demeanor—even in challenging situationsA team-oriented mindset and a desire to keep learning and growing Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountHealth insuranceLicense reimbursementPaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceRetirement planUniform allowanceVision insurance Experience:Veterinary technician: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
