This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team of surgeons and APP colleagues, providing comprehensive inpatient surgical care.Position Details Full-time schedule: 4 10-hour shifts per weekWeekend coverage: rotating weekends.Collaborative team environment with surgeons, APPs, and case managementSupporting continuity of care within the inpatient surgical service including a post operative follow-up in ambulatory clinic.Responsibilities Daily rounding on surgical inpatientsEvaluating and managing new surgical consultsCoordinating with case management for safe and efficient patient dispositionAssisting in the operating room, including scrubbing into surgical casesSupporting continuity of care within the inpatient surgical service Why Join Us? Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required. RNFA required for NP candidates. Experience: Open to both new graduates and experienced providers. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required. Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
