Brown-Forman is hiring an experienced Multi-Craft Mechanic to support the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, KY. 2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Friday from 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMExcellent Benefits Package: Competitive Pay: $31.00/hr Progressive Pay Increases within 1st Year of Employment (.50 Cents at 6 Months and $.50 Cents at 1 year) Annual Product Promotion Allowance Safety Shoe Allowance $100 Per Year Annual Uniform Allowance Paid Vacation & Paid Personal Time off Starts Day 1 of Employment 13 Paid Holidays Employee Stock Purchase Program Medical, Dental, Vision, and Basic Life insurance (Benefits Available First Day of Month after Hire), Short Term Disability Insurance 100% of Base Pay After 1 Year of Employment Pet Insurance Offered, Legal Benefits, Supplemental Insurance, Critical Illness 401K Savings Plan Match 100% of the 1st 5% Contribution Diverse, Inclusive Culture of Caring Job Description Summary: Provide general and preventive maintenance and repair of all production equipment, systems, and facilities. Support new equipment and machinery installation, facilities upgrades/redesigns, and give input on new equipment and facilities upgrades. Work overtime, including on-call weekend shifts, and across shifts as needed to support seamless operation. Job Description: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems and manufacturing equipment such as motors, pumps, conveying systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.  Leverage work order system to track maintenance of the operation in order to identify replacement timelines and manage workflow and productivity Resolve equipment issues by analyzing discrepancies, identifying repair parts and coordinating parts purchase(s) with the Maintenance Supervisor. Diagnose and repair electrical problems. Troubleshoot, identify and repair issues with electrical motor control systems. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated packaging systems including conveyors, palletizers, de-palletizers, and labeling machines. Maintain and repair facilities systems, including compressed air, boiler and fire suppression Identify and repair issues within grain handling, mashing and distillation systems Provide preventive maintenance and problem resolution for barrel handling equipment as well as general maintenance for all air-handling units Partner with other members of the maintenance team to complete all repairs and project work on time and on budget Maintain a clean and organized spare parts supply area  Must Requirements: Associate Degree or equivalent vocational training or work experience Demonstrated experience in both single and three-phase electrical systems Fluency in basic mechanical and electrical terms, equipment characteristics, and facilities maintenance terms Proficiency in reading technical drawings and diagrams Strong technical aptitude  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage through issue resolution.  Able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, reach, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, grasp and climb stairs/ladders. Able to push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and lift/carry up to 70 pounds occasionally. Able to pass drug & alcohol screening, physical abilities test, and other testing as required.
