Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Locum Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology in Coos Bay, OR Join a dedicated team at a prominent medical center serving as the Medical Center for Oregon s South Coast. This facility offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. We are currently seeking a Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 3-month assignment with the potential for extension. Job Responsibilities: Accepting full-time (80 hours per pay period) Working 4 x 10-hour shifts Clinic hours from 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM Hospital hours from 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM Providing care for 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient Rotating weekly between hospital and clinic settings Treating 15-18 patients per clinic day Consulting with 8-15 patients per hospital day Collaborating with a team of 4 physicians Working with an assigned MA to assist with patient management Engaging with a Triage RN team for patient assessments Providing support in general and invasive cardiology, as well as electrophysiology Utilizing EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Qualifications: 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is required Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Oregon license (or willingness to obtain) Strong background record with no malpractice issues is highly preferred Up-to-date self-query from NPDB at the time of presentation CAQH login and password required at the time of offer DEA information required during the name clearance process Meets criteria for medical staff or allied health professional membership and privileges License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner - REQUIRED Oregon State License (or ability to obtain) - REQUIRED Minimum of 1+ year experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner - REQUIRED Clean background with no malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERREDCoos Bay, located on the picturesque Oregon coast, offers stunning natural beauty and a vibrant community.
