Job Details - Indiana Nurse Practitioner Opportunity Position Type: Locum Tenens, PRN (part-time, contract healthcare job) Location: Marion County, IN, Indianapolis, and nearby counties (travel radius 60 miles) Shifts per Week: 5 (minimum 4 full days/month required; half-days allowed after minimum) Shift Duration: Part-Time (8-hour field days; flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM) Contract Duration: 26 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $480 - $533 (per-assessment payment model) Travel Requirements: Over 50% (daily travel to patient homes, up to 120 miles/day) Nurse Practitioner Qualifications Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Indiana (ANCC, AANP, or AACN Board Certification required) Minimum 1 year of NP clinical experience (new graduates not eligible) Board certification in AGNP (Adult Geriatric Primary Care), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), ENP (Emergency Nurse Practitioner), or ACNP (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) Willingness to travel independently to patient homes, including underserved and rural areas Ability to adapt to logistical changes (route changes, no-shows, schedule adjustments) Strong commitment to patient care and adaptability to urban, suburban, and rural healthcare environments Must supply own patient bag with basic medical tools Professional attire or dark-colored scrubs required (no lab coat needed) Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities Conduct annual in-home Health Risk Assessments for geriatric and Medicare patients Perform physical exams, medication reviews, and assess social and environmental factors Complete basic labs (such as A1C and fit tests; no blood draws required) Accurately document and submit assessments via company-issued tablet (same-day submission required) Travel daily to member homes within assigned Indiana territory Manage scheduling, handle no-shows, and adapt to changing routes Maintain high quality scores and adhere to clinical protocols and healthcare standards Collaborate with Clinical Services team for field support and quality assurance reviews Why Join Our Indiana Healthcare Team?
