Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) role in a combined family practice and urgent care settingFull-service clinic with chronic disease management, urgent care, in-house lab draw, pharmacy, weight loss and wellness programsRole focused on high-quality, patient-centered care for all agesConduct wellness visits and preventive health screeningsManage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterolProvide patient education on lifestyle modification and disease preventionConduct both in-person and telemedicine visitsAssess and treat non-life-threatening urgent conditions (e.g., respiratory infections, minor injuries, sprains/strains, burns)Perform point-of-care testing and interpret labs and imaging in collaboration with supervising physiciansProvide wound care, laceration repair, and other minor procedures as trained and credentialedWork with support staff to maintain efficient visit flowMaintain timely and accurate electronic medical recordsFollow clinic policies, state regulations, and billing and documentation standardsParticipate in quality improvement effortsCurrent NP or PA license in the state of TexasNational certification (AANP or ANCC for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)Minimum one year of experience in family medicine or urgent careBLS required; ACLS or other advanced certifications preferredComfortable managing patients from pediatrics through geriatrics (preferred)Experience using Athena EMR (preferred)Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends (preferred)Full-time position with extremely competitive salaryOpportunity for commission and bonus payBenefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and matching 401kEmployer-provided life insurance policyCover two locations in W/SW Austin
