Our collaborative culture emphasizes professional growth, integrity, and outstanding client representation.Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and experiencedWorkers' Compensation and or Employment Attorneywith4-5 years of legal experienceto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid litigation experience, strong legal research and writing skills, and a passion for advocating for clients in complex workplace matters. This role involves managing a caseload, advising clients, and advocating effectively in administrative and court settings.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of workers' compensation and employment law matters from intake through resolution.Represent clients in hearings before theWorkers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB),Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH),Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and other forums.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research and provide sound case strategy and advice.Communicate and strategize with clients, opposing counsel, and administrative judges.Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.QualificationsRequired:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active California Bar membership in good standing.4-5 years of experience in workers' compensation and employment law litigation.Strong litigation and case management skills.Excellent analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage a high volume of work with professionalism and accuracy.Preferred:Prior experience with WCAB, DFEH, EEOC, or State/Federal court proceedings.Familiarity with California labor and employment statutes, regulations, and case law.Strong negotiation and client counseling skills.Compensation & BenefitsSalary:$115,000 - $150,000 annually (DOE)Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development supportFlexible work arrangements (where applicable)Why Join UsSupportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunity to grow as a skilled litigatorExposure to complex and varied legal mattersCommitment to work-life balance and professional development Join us to make a meaningful impact by advocating for clients while developing your expertise across a broad spectrum of legal disciplines.
