Job Family:Technology ConsultingTravel Required:NoneClearance Required:Active SecretWhat You Will Do:Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our Defense and Security Segment to support a US Federal Government client. As part of the product delivery team, the Product Owner will coordinate delivery of Agile products and expertise to the government.The individual will regularly interact with senior government officials, staff, and will be engaged in a diverse set of program-specific tasks related to the Department's transformative systems. The individual should possess a willingness to be flexible in supporting numerous work products and deliverables.Tasks include:Serve as Product Owner across one or more teamsAnalyze business processes and elicit requirements to assist in defining objectives for product developmentWork closely with Business Owners to define features and prioritize work by assessing priority and impactCollaborate with the team to resolve blockers and dependenciesSupport quarterly planning efforts and keep teams aligned to goals and objectivesManage the product backlog, prioritizing work items based on valueCreate product vision and roadmapsWhat You Will Need:An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.Bachelor's DegreeFOUR (4) years professional experience with at least THREE (3) as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in an Agile delivery environmentWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Experience improving processes and defining requirements through user stories to inform IT product deliveryAgile certifications (Certified Scrum Master, Agile Product Owner/Product Manager, etc.) - scaled Agile (SAFe) certifications are preferredKnowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using at a Federal program including PI planningStrong written and oral communication skills Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and othersExceptional customer service skillsExperience managing customer expectations and working directly with stakeholdersExperience coordinating with technical teams and an understanding of basic tech terminology/conceptsStrong time-management and prioritization skillsFlexibility, agility, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as to work independentlyExperience/knowledge working in Azure DevOps to create epics, features, and user storiesSelf-motivated with innate organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple work streams against tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relations with and communicate across all levels of staff and leadership, along with a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups.Experience building project plans, status reports, and other content for executive leadership which promote efficient decision-making.The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
