A premium rooftop cocktail lounge perched atop the Canopy Washington DC | The Wharf, DC’s quintessential lifestyle and entertainment destination. Whiskey Charlie’s 10th floor is a roofscape with both an intimate rooftop deck, and an indoor lounge.We are seeking a motivated and experiencedLounge General Managerto lead our lounge team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will oversee daily operations, coach and mentor staff, and maintain high standards of service, quality, and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and evaluate lounge staff, providing guidance and support for peak performanceWrite schedules, conduct evaluations, and provide disciplinary action as neededMaintain clear communication between management and associatesEnsure all food and beverages meet quality standards and are prepared and served efficientlyOversee banquet service including set-up, refreshes, and timely delivery of foodManage lounge operations within budget, controlling costs, labor, and inventoryEnforce compliance with federal, state, and local food and liquor lawsMaintain accurate records including menus, checklists, and recipe cardsMonitor payroll submissions and labor schedules to maximize efficiencyFoster a positive work environment and uphold company HR policiesWork closely with accounting and HR on payroll, staffing, and labor managementQualificationsPrevious management experience in a lounge, bar, or restaurant settingStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsKnowledge of food and beverage operations and cost controlAbility to work flexible hours, including nights and weekendsCommitment to delivering excellent guest service and team developmentBenefits We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceLife and short/long-term disability options401(k) planTuition assistanceDiscounted room rates at Concord-managed hotelsTraining, development, and career advancement opportunitiesPerformance-based bonus eligibilityWhy Concord?
