This highly visible role will work on an initiative that is a key part of PitchBook's growth strategy. This role plays an active role in defining strategy, roadmap prioritization, and supporting AI/ML-driven products and services. This role will own and prioritize the product roadmap for AI/ML data collection and experiences. As a Sr. Product Manager, this role will also be expected to keep up on the latest AI/ML technologies and act as an evangelist and consultant with other teams to help them identify solutions to their specific business needs.Primary Job Responsibilities:Develop and drive the product strategy and roadmap for AI/ML applications with regards to Data Collection needs and goals, while prioritizing efficiency, scalability, and data accuracyBe a domain and subject matter expert for usage of AI/ML solutions and work with Product teams to understand their user workflows and data collection needsProvide guidance on AI/ML model integration, ensuring products and services are scalable, performant, and aligned with both business needs and technical constraintsEnsure that AI/ML models and data handling practices comply with relevant data privacy regulations and internal governance standardsActively define backlog priority for your team(s) in collaboration with Product, Architecture, and EngineeringBreak down prioritized requirements into well-structured backlog items and acceptance criteria for the engineering team to completeManage, track, and mitigate risks or blockers for delivery of features according to the Product RoadmapDefine, create, and manage metrics for AI/ML-driven features, ensuring alignment with business objectives such as data accuracy, processing speed, and operational efficiencyRemain up-to-date on the fast changing AI/ML tools and technologies that can be applied to the PitchBook Data Collection workflowsSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviorsParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requestedSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Management, or related field4+ years of combined experience in technical product management, product ownership, or other relevant experience, with a focus on data science and/or AI/ML applications in data-rich environmentsA proven record of shipping high impact data-related products and data discovery toolsBias for action, with a willingness and drive to help deliver a 0-1 product, doing what is necessary to meet team goalsExperience translating user-centric requirements and specifications into user stories and tasksSuperior attention to detail including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong verbal and written communication skills, including strong audience awarenessExperience working with data science and end‑user facing teams preferredBackground in fintech product space preferredMust be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureBenefits + Compensation at PitchBook: Physical HealthComprehensive health benefitsAdditional medical wellness incentivesSTD, LTD, AD&D, and life insuranceEmotional HealthPaid sabbatical program after four yearsPaid family and paternity leaveAnnual educational stipendAbility to apply for tuition reimbursementCFA exam stipendRobust training programs on industry and soft skillsEmployee assistance programGenerous allotment of vacation days, sick days, and volunteer daysSocial HealthMatching gifts programEmployee resource groupsSubsidized emergency childcareDependent Care FSACompany-wide eventsEmployee referral bonus programQuarterly team building eventsFinancial Health401k matchShared ownership employee stock programMonthly transportation stipend*Please be aware the above PitchBook benefit and perk offerings are subject to corresponding plan and policy documents and may change during the course of your pensationAnnual base salary: $165,000-$200,000Target annual bonus percentage: 10%Working Conditions: At the heart of our company is a belief in the power of in‑person collaboration.
