Pharmacy Technician

```Duties``` - Assist pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare products to patients - Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies - Process prescriptions and insurance claims - Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals - Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns ```Requirements``` - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent work experience - Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) is preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices - Familiarity with aseptic technique and medication administration - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Skills: - Patient care - Acute care - Critical care - Pharmacy knowledge - Medical terminology - Aseptic technique - Medication administration - Pharmacy technician experience - Hospital pharmacy experience - IV infusion knowledge Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
