Position OverviewThe Litigation Attorney will manage a caseload of active personal injury cases through all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial. The ideal candidate will have strong advocacy skills, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and the confidence to represent clients effectively in court. ResponsibilitiesHandle all phases of personal injury litigation from case filing through trial. Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and dispositive motions. Conduct and defend depositions of clients, experts, and witnesses. Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials. Collaborate closely with case managers, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases move efficiently. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives. QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. ActiveCalifornia Bar licensein good standing. Minimum45 years of civil litigation experience(personal injury experience strongly preferred). Excellent oral advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom presentation skills. Strong legal writing, research, and analytical abilities. Highly organized and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
