Citi Investment Management (CIM) is a group within Citi Wealth that manages assets on a discretionary and advisory basis for high and ultra-high net worth clients. With approximately $25 billion in assets under management and advisement globally, CIM manages a broad suite of investment strategies within single and multi-asset class products. CIM is currently seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our Multi-AssetClass Solutions (MACS) team, a $20 billion unit that is responsible for full discretion portfolios across traditional and alternative asset classes. The candidate will be responsible for the ongoing management of MACS portfolios under the guidance of the team’s senior portfolio manager(s) and will also play an active role in positioning the team’s strategies with Citi Wealth advisors and end clients.ResponsibilitiesDaily portfolio management of model/custom accounts under the guidance of senior portfolio managersAid in the continued enhancement of MACS’ value proposition with clients and prospectsDevelopment of external facing content and liaison with various partners in the creation of materials with partner teamsContribution to overall investment strategy, design, and implementation of portfolio and risk guidelinesOn-site prospect/client interactions, client maintenance, and support of sales/marketing initiativesStay abreast of trends and news, maintain pro-active views, and communicate conclusions/recommendations concerning pertinent sectors and macroeconomic trends and developmentsImplement research views into portfoliosMonitor risk of client accounts and utilize quantitative tools to analyze portfolio exposures and risk-factorsParticipate in investment meetings and work closely with other CIM portfolio managers and analysts to discuss views on market events and analysisMonitor existing investments and industry developmentsParticipate in research coverage responsibilities including preparing analysis of certain companies/sectors and attending sell side conferences and corporate management meetingsInterface with internal and external clients to support new business activities and client retention initiativesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications6-10 years of direct experience in the asset management industry, preferably in a portfolio management roleStrong academic recordBachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferredCFA preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship management skillsExperience with face to face client interactionStrong analytical skills and technical insightUnderstanding of risk factors that drive investment performanceDemonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a teamEducationBachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferredJob Family Group:Private Client Product ServicesJob Family:Investment Portfolio ManagementTime Type:Full timePrimary Location:New York, New York, United StatesPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range:$157,040.00 - $235,560.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
