Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Tooling and Tow Team Manager (Level K) to lead our 787 Tooling & Tow Team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position is weekend shift, working three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.You will develop and maintain cross-functional relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders across the Boeing South Carolina site. The team is involved in leading critical 787 airplane movement as well as tool fabrication. Key skills include promoting a safety & quality culture for the team, professional collaboration, and operations leadership.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines supporting airplane movement within flightline operationsDevelops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategiesDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reportsExecutes and leads within the Boeing Production System (BPS) processEngages and promotes a safety and quality cultureProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManages, develops, leads, coaches, and motivates employeesInfluences the team to exhibit Boeing Values and BehaviorsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal/informal role1+ years of experience with tool fabrication1+ years of experience with flightline operationsWillingness to work any shift assignedPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with tool repair and preventative maintenance3+ years of experience teaching, coaching and developing othersConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Shift:This position is weekend shift, working three 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
