Caring for patients in a 27-bed unit with a focus on Med/Tele Neuro & Cardiac, Post CAB, MIs/Chest pain, etc. Priority on patient safety and satisfaction. Requirements Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred. 1 + yrs OF RECENT RN acute care experience required. Telemetry and Cardiac experience required If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They ll still need to apply for the FL license), we can consider and move forward.If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they ll need to take the NCLEX in FL, and once they pass, we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License) Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification. NIHSS Certification must be obtained within 30 days. Required to work under NIHSS credentials RN until the training certificate is obtained. Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
