Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients for sleep studies and ensure their comfort and understanding of procedures. Perform and monitor polysomnographic recordings including EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, and respiratory parameters. Identify and document sleep stages and events such as respiratory, cardiac, limb movement, and arousal occurrences. Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain data quality throughout the study. Score sleep studies according to AASM standards and assist in preparing reports for physician interpretation. Provide patient education regarding sleep hygiene and PAP therapy when indicated. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Polysomnographic Technology program or equivalent experience. RPSGT certification (or eligibility to obtain) preferred. Current BLS certification required.
