Inpatient General Cardiovascular Medicine Weekend Day Advanced Practice Provider Position- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantWellstar Paulding Hospital Hiram, GAWellstar Medical Group is seeking a Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Inpatient General Cardiovascular Medicine team at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. Position Highlights Weekend Day schedule onlyInpatient General Cardiovascular MedicineEstablished and growing cardiovascular programCollaborative care model with cardiologists, hospitalists, and experienced APPsSupportive leadership and access to system-wide cardiovascular resources Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the care of hospitalized patients with cardiovascular conditionsPerform inpatient consultations, daily rounding, and ongoing patient managementConduct histories and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plansCollaborate closely with supervising cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teamsAssist with care transitions, discharge planning, and patient/family educationDocument clinical encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record (EPIC) Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programCurrent Georgia licensure or eligibilityBoard certification as an ACNP or PA-CInpatient cardiology or acute care experience preferredStrong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills About Wellstar Paulding Hospital Wellstar Paulding Hospital is a full-service community hospital located in Hiram, Georgia, providing high-quality care to Paulding County and surrounding communities.
