Neurology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Bakersfield, CA (New Grads are accepted!)Job Type: Full time/Part timeJob Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. This position is primarily an outpatient role with Monday-Friday office hours. The ideal candidate will have prior Neurology experience or training and be comfortable managing a mix of new patient consults and follow-ups.Job Responsibilities:• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurology care for patients aged 16 and older.• Conduct initial consultations and follow-up visits (approximately 10-15 patients per day during the initial adaptation period, increasing to 16-20 patients daily).• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.Qualifications:• Must have a valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/PA degree.• Must hold a California FNP/PA certification.• Open to hiring new graduates with Neurology NP/PA training.• Preferred: 1-2 years of Neurology NP/PA experience.• Strong communication and organizational skills.Benefits:• Paid off time• sign-on or relocation benefits• Flexible schedule• Health insurance option• 401K/ Retirement benefits• And many more!
