Job Summary: The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric mental health services to adult patients within a neurology outpatient clinic. Patients are managed by neurology and identified as having psychiatric comorbidities without active psychiatric treatment. Care is delivered primarily in person, with limited telehealth as appropriate. The PMHNP works alongside counselors and a psychiatrist to deliver comprehensive neurobehavioral mental health services. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health historiesDiagnose and manage psychiatric conditions in adult patientsPrescribe and manage psychiatric medicationsMonitor medication effectiveness and interactionsAddress psychiatric concerns related to neurologic conditionsOrder and interpret appropriate diagnostic testingUtilize non-pharmacologic treatments including TMSPrescribe and manage advanced therapies such as ketamineCollaborate with neurology, counseling, and psychiatry team members Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements: Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse PractitionerActive and unrestricted Arizona NP licenseCurrent DEA registration with no restrictionsOne year of psychiatric experience preferredExperience with TMS preferredExperience with ketamine therapy preferredHow to ApplyIf you re ready to contribute your skills to a respected neurology practice and grow within a supportive environment, please submit your updated resume for confidential consideration.
