Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Specialty: Hormone Replacement Therapy Primary Care (Internal Medicine)Location: Austin, TXJob Type: Full-TimeSetting: Outpatient & Telemedicine Schedule Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMWeekend Requirement: Occasional Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM), with a weekday adjusted accordinglyOn-Call: None Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality outpatient primary care services with a focus on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). This role serves a diverse patient population, including geriatrics, in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.The ideal candidate has a strong background in internal medicine or primary care, experience with hormone therapy, and a passion for wellness, preventative care, and long-term patient management. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care and internal medicine servicesConduct patient evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and develop treatment plansManage chronic conditions and support longitudinal patient careMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriateProvide education on wellness, preventative care, weight management, and lifestyle modificationsCollaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomesMaintain accurate, timely documentation using Athenahealth (Athena) or similar EHR systemsEnsure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable clinical and regulatory standards Patient & Practice Details Patient Volume: 30-35 patients per dayCare Mix: Approximately 1/3 telemedicine, remainder in-clinicPatient Age Range: 12 to 95 yearsPractice Focus: Outpatient primary care with hormone replacement therapy Qualifications Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantActive, unrestricted Texas NP or PA licensePA-C or FNP-C certification requiredActive DEA licenseMinimum 2 years of clinical experience (new graduates not considered)Experience in outpatient clinics, internal medicine, primary care, or post-acute careRequired experience in Hormone Replacement TherapyBackground in wellness, weight management, and preventative medicine preferredExperience treating geriatric populationsProficiency with Athenahealth (Athena) or similar EHR systemsStrong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and ICD-10 coding Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO)Performance-based bonus structure401(k) with employer matchingMedical, dental, and vision insurance Additional Information Open Positions: 1 (with potential future openings later in the year)Start Date: ASAPEmployment Type: Full-Time onlyInterview Process: 3 roundsIf you're interested or want more details, feel free to call me at or email me at .
