Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Facility in Providence, Rhode Island seeking NP Oncology locums coverage Rates: $120/hr Opportunity Highlights Start Date: April 6, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed). Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM. Flexibility: Full-time preferred; will consider candidates available for 1 2 weeks per month. Travel: Full travel covered (Airfare, lodging, and car rental). Work-Life Balance: Shared rotational call coverage. Clinical Scope & Setting This position bridges the gap between clinical office visits and acute hospital rounding. Outpatient Care: Manage a volume of patients per day in a clinic setting. Inpatient Care: Perform daily rounding (typically 1 2 hours) based on consult volume. Support: Work in collaboration with an on-site Hematology/Oncology physician. Documentation: Hybrid system (80% Paper / 20% Meditech EMR). Provider Requirements Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner specifically in a Hematology/Oncology setting. Licensure: Active Rhode Island (RI) State License, CSR, and DEA. Willing to License: The facility will consider candidates needing a license (4 8 week timeframe).
