The medical group includes multiple specialties such as family practice, pediatrics, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, post-acute care, urology, and general surgery, providing extensive professional collaboration opportunities.Opportunity:Nurse Practitioner - Primary CareJob Details:• Independently perform medical acts in accordance with APRN licensure standards in an outpatient primary care setting• Provide comprehensive nursing and medical care to individuals, families, and groups• Focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and overall wellness• Deliver leadership and consultation within the care team• Collaborate with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes• Identify and address specialized teaching and learning needs of patients and families• Provide education to support informed healthcare decision-making• Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment for patients and staff• Support daily practice operations in a cost-effective manner• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education• Identify personal learning needs and establish goals for professional growth• Work within the Medical Group with various specialties• Collaborate with physicians, licensed providers, LPNs/medical assistants, and clerical staff• 1:11 call rotation• Master's Degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program required• Current Vermont APRN License (or ability to obtain) required• Certification as Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP highly preferred• Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required• DEA License required• Two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree highly preferred• Clean malpractice history requiredCompensation:Employed salary with benefits.
