NP / PA - Cardiovascular & Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity - Lafayette, LAPosition Overview Role: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Specialty: Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery Employment Type: Full-Time Setting: Hospital-Based EMR: Epic Team Structure Cardiovascular Surgeons: 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): 3 Clinical Volume Program Volume: 90 surgeries/procedures per month Procedures Supported Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) Thoracotomies Lobectomies Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repairs Arterial bypasses Aortic valve replacements Schedule Inpatient Coverage: Primary focus Clinic: 1 day per week 15-20 post-op patients Call: No call Responsibilities Inpatient rounding Surgical consults Emergency department consult coverage Additional Notes High-volume, established CV/CT surgery program Strong surgeon and APP support Excellent opportunity for APPs seeking no-call surgical roles Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
