This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a large multispecialty group.Position DetailsFull-time positionOutpatient cardiology settingMultispecialty group practiceSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; Saturday, 9:00am-5:00pmH1B visa sponsorship availableJob SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner will work closely with cardiologists to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The ideal candidate has experience or a strong interest in outpatient cardiology and demonstrates strong clinical judgment and collaborative skills.ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including detailed histories and physical examinationsEvaluate and manage patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hyperlipidemia, and other cardiac conditionsOrder, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, labs)Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologistsPrescribe medications and manage ongoing therapies according to clinical guidelinesProvide patient education regarding disease management, medications, and lifestyle modificationsAccurately document all clinical encounters in the EMRCoordinate care with referring providers, imaging centers, and ancillary servicesSupport quality initiatives and clinical protocols within the cardiology service lineRequirementsGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programBoard certification as a Nurse PractitionerActive New York license or ability to obtainMinimum of 1 year post-training clinical experienceStrong clinical assessment and patient management skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesBilingual Spanish is a plus, but not requiredOrganization InformationCompetitive salary range: $140,000-$160,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits packageLarge multispecialty group with locations throughout the Greater NYC areaOver 140 physicians and 100 advanced practice providers currently employedLifestyle InformationOpportunities available throughout the BronxAccess to all that New York City has to offerAbundant public transportation optionsRecruitWell Core ValuesOpen communicationSense of urgencyTeamworkAccountabilityDriven to winHigher consciousness
