Ref #: M-RN-294203Join a compassionate hospice team in Albany, OR, on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This day-shift role runs 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and pays $2,228 per 40-hour week.What you'll be doingPerform thorough assessments and monitor patients' conditions, with a focus on pain and symptom management.Administer medications and interventions to keep patients comfortable.Teach patients and their families about hospice care, what to expect as the illness progresses, and options for end-of-life planning.Maintain clear, timely documentation and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.Provide compassionate emotional and psychosocial support to patients and loved ones.What we're looking forActive RN license in the practicing state.Experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life nursing is preferred.Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a caring bedside manner.BLS required; hospice or palliative care certifications are a plus.If you're a nurse who values dignity-centered care and clear teamwork, this position in Albany offers a meaningful way to make a difference.
