Ref #: C-LPN-We're looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Rochester, NH to join a local contract team for a 9-week assignment starting ASAP. This role is non-travel and follows a Sun/Mon/Sat schedule from 3:00 PM-11:30 PM. Compensation is $1,548 per 40-hour week.What we need from youActive, valid LPN license for the state of New HampshireCurrent BLS certificationWhat you'll be doingYou'll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. Typical duties include administering medications and IV fluids, performing wound care and dressing changes, monitoring and documenting vital signs, and completing thorough patient assessments to support individualized care plans. You'll collect samples for lab testing, care for patients with catheters, assist with mobility and comfort measures, and educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.You'll also be expected to:Accurately document changes in condition, treatments, and medication administrationFollow infection control practices and proper PPE useSafely handle, store, and dispose of medications and suppliesRespond to emergencies and provide basic life support when neededCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team-RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff-to ensure coordinated carePromote preventive health measures like vaccinations and screeningsAdvocate for patient needs and rightsSupervise CNAs or other unlicensed assistive personnel when assignedParticipate in ongoing education to stay current with best practicesPerform other duties as assigned by managementIf you're a dependable LPN who enjoys working with a collaborative team and providing compassionate, detail-oriented care, this assignment in Rochester could be a great fit.
