Ref #: C-OT-Type: Contract/Travel Location: Silver Spring, MD Start: ASAP Duration: 14 weeks Schedule: Daily, 08:00 AM-04:30 PM (Sun-Sat) Rate: Travel: $1,677/35 hrs; Local: $1,652/35 hrsRequirementsValid, active Occupational Therapy state license CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities and home/environmental factors to identify limitations and set measurable goals Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, motor function, cognition, and independence Provide training and recommendations for adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications Instruct patients and caregivers in daily living tasks and safe techniques; practice skills with patients to build independence Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to promote independence Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans based on patient progress; maintain accurate evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to support safe community and workplace reintegration Maintain professional competence through ongoing education and adhere to facility policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by management
