Ref #: C-PT-Location: Phillipsburg, NJType: Contract/Travel - 13 weeksStart: ASAPSchedule: Mon-Fri, 08:00 AM-04:30 PM (35 hours/week)Rate: Travel $2,244/35 hrs; Local $2,212/35 hrsRequired credentialsActive Physical Therapy state licenseCPR/BLS (AHA or Red Cross, with AED)Core responsibilitiesPerform comprehensive evaluations: review medical history, assess mobility, strength, balance, range of motion, pain, functional status.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable short- and long-term goals.Deliver therapeutic interventions: therapeutic exercise, manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching), modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold).Train and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and provide gait training.Create and teach home exercise programs; instruct patients and families on condition management, ergonomics, and injury prevention.Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress; maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (physicians, nurses, OTs, etc.) to coordinate care and discharge planning.Apply pain management strategies and support functional independence after surgery, injury, or illness.Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards; provide culturally sensitive care.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
