Ref #: M-RN-294160Join a psychiatric/behavioral health team in Lewiston, ME on a contract/travel assignment. This night position (7p-7a) begins ASAP and offers $2,182 for a 36-hour shift.Required qualifications:Active RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing programBLS certification; CPI or other crisis-prevention training preferredPrior behavioral health or emergency/ED experience preferredStrong assessment, de-escalation, and communication skillsAbility to manage high-acuity crisis situationsKey responsibilities:Conduct crisis and psychiatric assessments, including suicide risk evaluationsProvide psychiatric nursing care and administer medications/treatments per ordersMonitor patient safety and use appropriate de-escalation techniquesCollaborate closely with behavioral health and emergency department teamsDevelop and implement individualized care plans and educate patients/families on treatment and resourcesAccurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMRIf you are a skilled RN with behavioral health experience and thrive in fast-paced crisis settings, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make an immediate impact.
