Ref #: A-RN-65468Travel Contract Registered Nurse (Telemetry) - Lima, OHStart: ASAP Shift: Nights, 12-hour (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) Weekend: Every other weekend Rate: $2,002 / 36 hoursOverview:Seeking an experienced telemetry RN for a night contract in Lima, OH. Ideal candidates have strong post-operative cardiac and critical care skills, are proficient in cardiac monitoring and intervention, and are comfortable floating to other units within their skill set.Key Responsibilities and Skills:Provide telemetry nursing care for post-operative open-heart and cardiac patientsMonitor and interpret cardiac rhythm strips; recognize and respond to rhythm changesManage chest tubes and other drains; assist with chest tube removalAssist with removal of pericardial pacing wires and manage temporary pacers (including transcutaneous and pericardial devices)Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral accessUse and troubleshoot non-invasive ventilation (NIV) devices, high-flow oxygen, and other oxygen delivery systemsDemonstrate advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities and appropriate interventionsFloat to all units as needed within competencyMinimum Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of RN experience (cardiac/post-op open-heart and critical care experience highly preferred)Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certificationsActive Ohio RN license (or Compact RN license) verified via NURSYS; Michigan RN license requiredProven competency in cardiac monitoring, chest tube/drain management, and temporary pacing supportAssignment Type:Contract/Travel - NightsRef #: A-RN-65468
