Ref #: C-SLP-Location & AssignmentPleasant Hill, CAContract/TravelStart: ASAPDuration: 13 weeksSchedule & CompensationHours: 35 hours/week - Sun-Sat, 08:00 AM-04:30 PMTravel rate: $2,244/35 hoursLocal rate: $2,212/35 hoursRequired LicenseValid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state licenseCore ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.Diagnose communication and swallowing impairments using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.Provide direct therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and swallowing.Evaluate and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options as needed.Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and safe swallowing techniques.Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress; maintain accurate records (assessments, plans, progress notes).Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily activities, school, or work.Maintain professional competence through continuing education and training.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
