Ref #: C-SLP-Join a dynamic team in Oakland, CA as a contract Speech Language Pathologist. This full time, 14 week assignment begins ASAP with a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel $2,383/36 hrs; Local $2,347/36 hrs.Minimum requirement:Current, active Speech Language Pathologist state license.Key responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.Diagnose communication and swallowing disorders and determine severity.Develop individualized, goal driven treatment plans and provide evidence based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and dysphagia.Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.Educate patients and families on strategies, exercises, and safe swallowing techniques; facilitate carryover into daily, school, or work settings.Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on measurable patient progress; maintain accurate, timely records (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes).Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate comprehensive care.Participate in professional development to stay current in best practices.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
