Ref #: C-SLP-OverviewLocation: Chambersburg, PAType: Contract/TravelStart: ASAPDuration: 14 weeksSchedule: Sun-Sat, 08:00 AM-04:30 PMRate: Travel $2,121/35 hrs; Local $2,090/35 hrsRequirementsValid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders.Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language skills.Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies.Recommend, train, and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as indicated.Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and home programs to support communication and swallowing.Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans based on patient progress.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, educators) for coordinated care.Maintain accurate, timely patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.Facilitate carryover of communication skills to daily activities, school, or work settings.Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
