Ref #: C-SLP-We're seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a team in Los Angeles, CA on a 14-week contract starting ASAP. This is a full-time role with a consistent schedule (Sun-Sat, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM). Compensation is competitive: Travel rate $1,876/35 hrs or Local rate $1,848/35 hrs.What you'll be doing:Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.Use clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to identify the type and severity of communication disorders.Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.Evaluate and treat dysphagia, teaching safe swallowing techniques and strategies.Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.Educate patients and families on carryover strategies, home exercises, and coaching to support progress outside therapy sessions.Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting plans based on outcomes and ongoing assessment.Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other care team members to ensure coordinated, holistic care.Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records including assessments, plans, and progress notes.Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily activities, school, or work.Participate in professional development to stay current in the field.Perform other duties as assigned by management.What we require:Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.If you're passionate about helping people communicate and swallow more safely and effectively, this role offers a structured schedule, strong team collaboration, and the chance to make meaningful progress with each patient.
