Up to full time workPractice Setting: Primarily function as trauma hospitalist rounder. may have some intermittent ED consult, trauma activations, procedures work. For those with surgical and trauma critical care experience may have needs for this. Call Ratio: no call- in house onlyAverage Number of Patients Per Day: 10-14 admitted patients to round on if non ICU, 6 if ICU, admitting/ED can be 2-15 per 24hDocumentation System/EMR: EPICTrauma Level/Designation: Level I adult that cares for PediatricsWill APP be Working Autonomously? YesSupervising Physician Present During Assignment?: Staffed with Trauma Surgeon 24-hour per daySpecialty Back-Up is Available (If Needed) for Procedures Noted: Trauma SurgeonPatient Age Demographic: 0-100+, but primarily adult and adolescent.Preferred local providers - Only Mileage is ReimbursedRequired Procedures: (These are not all necessary but preferred)Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap)Ventilation ManagementChest Tube InsertionCentral LineArterial LineSuturing Minor Lacerations Required of the APP: Responding to the ED for Trauma AlertsFacilitating DischargesER AdmissionsDaily rounding and management of all conditions- we do not use hospitalists. need to be fully able to be attending on all patient conditions Submission RequirementsALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
