Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Outpatient Clinic- Start Date: ASAP- Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (40 hours per week)- Patient Population: Adult- Location: Farmington, CT- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits- Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)- Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities- Independently evaluate patients, document plans of care, and manage chemotherapy toxicities- Conduct new patient evaluations in both benign and malignant hematology- Collaborate with support staff, including RNs, MAs, and COAs- Prescribe chemotherapy, leveraging ONS certification Qualifications- Active CT license- Board Certified (BC)- ONS chemotherapy certification- BLS and ACLS certification- DEA registration- Experience in outpatient hematology preferred- Proficient with Epic EMR Working Hours- Flexibility in scheduling with 4x10 hour days Skills- Expertise in managing adult medical patients in oncology- Competency in chemotherapy prescribing and bone marrow biopsy- Strong independent practice capabilities Join a team dedicated to providing exceptional oncology care in Farmington, CT.
