Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join a dedicated team helping our nation's Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Houston, Arkansas.This opportunity allows you to work with Veterans in either your own office or as a per diem provider at a facility within a 50-mile radius of Houston. Experience a fulfilling role while providing essential medical evaluations in a supportive environment. Job Responsibilities: Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments. Perform interview-based evaluations, including physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. Complete necessary report submissions efficiently. No prescribing or treatment is involved. Opportunity to work days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) based on availability. Quick credentialing and onboarding process. Qualifications: Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine. A background in compensation and pension evaluations is a plus. License and Certification Requirements: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas. AANP certification.
