This permanent opportunity offers a structured inpatient model within a respected neonatal program in Southeast Michigan.Experienced providers and board-eligible new graduates are welcome to apply. Schedule Model Varied inpatient shift structureMix of 24-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour shiftsWeekends included in rotationNo call requirementFull-time or part-time flexibility availableThis is a team-based inpatient practice model not autonomous coverage. Practice Environment Level III NICUInpatient neonatal care onlyPhysician-led Neonatology teamMultidisciplinary rounding modelStrong respiratory therapy and ancillary supportEpic EMRThis NICU manages premature and critically ill neonates requiring advanced respiratory support, monitoring, and coordinated specialty care. Clinical Responsibilities Perform comprehensive neonatal assessmentsParticipate in daily rounds and ongoing NICU managementStabilize and manage premature and high-risk newbornsCollaborate closely with NeonatologistsProvide family education and counselingDocument encounters accurately in EpicContribute to quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (by start date)Graduate of an accredited NNP programActive Michigan license (or ability to obtain)BLS and NRP certificationAbility to work varied 24-, 10-, and 8-hour shiftsClean malpractice and license historyNPDB Self-Query required at time of submissionVisa sponsorship is not available.
