Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Urgent and Acute Care! Are you a dedicated healthcare professional ready to make a difference in a fast-paced urgent care setting? We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide exceptional urgent and acute care services across multiple locations. This role offers a dynamic environment where your skills will directly impact patient outcomes, working independently with a supportive team to deliver quality care to diverse patient populations, including both adults and pediatrics. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive urgent and acute care, including minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations, and more.Manage a patient caseload of up to 40 patients per day, including patients as young as six months.Efficiently document and manage all patient encounters using Epic EMR.Operate independently in the urgent care setting, utilizing your clinical expertise and soft skills to foster positive patient experiences.Collaborate with support staff, including center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians when applicable.Complete required certifications (Board Certification, NCCPA, NP or PA Certification, BLS) and have a minimum of 12 months of relevant experience.Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in urgent or acute care.Current certification: Board Certified PA or Family NP (NP Boards preferred).Proficient in Epic EMR system.Ability to see and treat all patients independently.Strong soft skills and excellent communication abilities.Capable of performing minor procedures confidently.Must be able to work within a 65-mile radius of your residence.Nice to Have Skills: Experience with pediatric patients in an urgent care setting.Familiarity with additional procedures or specialties.Bilingual abilities are a plus.Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.Valid state licensure with active certification.Minimum of one year of urgent or acute care experience; new graduates are not considered.Other Requirements: Availability to start by December 31, 2025.Must pass credentialing and EMR training prior to first solo shift.No travel reimbursement available; candidates must support multiple locations within their geographic area.Willingness to undergo onboarding, clinical interview, and ongoing shift coverage.This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive setting with competitive hourly pay of $1.00/hour, comprehensive benefits, and a commitment to your professional success.
