The facility features modern technology including electronic medical records and offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care with a focus on quality and safety initiatives.Job Details:• Collaborate with attending physicians to prepare and record patient histories, develop care plans, and participate in daily rounds • Utilize electronic medical records for order entry and documentation • Order or perform diagnostic studies including EMG, electrocardiogram, compartment pressure measurements, and various imaging (CT, MRI, bone scans) • Perform procedures such as digital blocks, regional anesthesia, and minor outpatient surgical procedures • Conduct therapeutic procedures including joint and bursa aspirations, closed reduction of fractures and dislocations, and various injections • Apply braces, casts, and splints as needed • Assist in surgery as first assistant, performing deep and superficial tissue closures and application of appliances• Serve as primary orthopedic call for patients in the Emergency Department and inpatient units • Participate in call coverage including weekday, weekend, and 24-hour call rotations• Evaluate clinical conditions and implement treatment plans for hospitalized patients • Dictate discharge summaries, histories, and physicals • Must be proficient with electronic health records • Ability to work independently in stressful/emergent situations • Must be Board Certified and maintain active Oregon license • Requires 4 hours of unpaid EPIC training (2-hour testing out option available) • Full-time position with call responsibilities including nights and weekends• Credentialing timeframe minimum of 60 daysCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
