Job Title: Warehouse Associate and Skilled Reach Truck Operator Location: Sparks, NV Pay: $19/hr Shift: Mon- Fri. 6AM- 6PM +Mandatory OTOverview We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and be proficient in operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products within the facility, contributing to our overall operational success. Responsibilities Operate Reach Truck and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload materials. Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all products are handled according to company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues. Engage in heavy lifting as required, moving products throughout the warehouse as needed.Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling. Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience with order picking processes and shipping & receiving operations. Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and work in a physically demanding environment. Knowledge of safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, is essential. Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar leadership role is a plus.
