Check out the opportunity below and apply today!Gahanna, Ohio client is seeking anIT Architect Leadto be part of a larger team delivering technology solutions to address business problems and opportunities. Focus on translating specific business requirements into technical solution architectures including application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and non-functional requirements around supportability, resiliency, security, etc.May consider remote candidates in footprint. Candidates who are within 50 miles of a location may be required to come on site.What You’ll Do: Translate general business requirements and business trends in architecture patterns and technology ecosystems including data center architecture, application architecture patterns, integration architecture patterns, technology standards, non-functional technical requirements, and computing paradigms.Design and architect end-to-end Esri GIS solutions aligned with business, security, and performance requirementsLead architecture and implementation of ArcGIS Enterprise (10.8.1+), including high availability and disaster recovery designsDevelop and review Python and ArcPy scripts for automation, data processing, and system maintenanceGuide the use and configuration of ArcGIS Pro for advanced spatial analysis and data managementDesign and support Esri mobile workflows using Field Maps, Survey123, and related toolsArchitect and manage enterprise geodatabases, including Oracle SDE, with attention to performance, versioning, and data integrityDesign and implement data integration pipelines using tools such as FME and APIsDefine and support cloud-hosted ArcGIS Enterprise solutions (IaaS and PaaS where applicable)Establish CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and infrastructure-as-code practices for GIS solutionsDefine and implement automated testing strategies for GIS services, scripts, and integrationsCollaborate with developers, GIS analysts, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to ensure solution alignmentProvide technical leadership, documentation, and architectural guidance across projects Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience as a Solution Architect, GIS Architect, or senior GIS engineerExpert knowledge of the Esri GIS platform, including: ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 or higher ArcGIS Pro Esri mobile tools (Field Maps, Survey123)Advanced Python development skills, including extensive use of ArcPyHands-on experience with enterprise geodatabases, particularly Oracle SDEProven experience with data integration and ETL, including FMEExperience designing and supporting cloud-hosted ArcGIS Enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of deployment pipelines, automation, and DevOps practicesExperience implementing automated testing for GIS workflows and servicesSolid understanding of GIS security, authentication, and access control modelsAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications: Esri Technical Certification(s)Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCPKnowledge of containerization and orchestration (., Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with REST APIs and system integrationsBackground in large-scale or mission-critical GIS implementations Minimum Requirements: Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science OR Associate’s degree in computer science with two years of architecture-related experience OR high school diploma/GED with four years’ architecture-related experience.Work Experience: Typically twelve or more years of architecture or related experience (in addition to any experience identified above).
