TCI PRODUCTS, INC. – ManufacturerNational Sales Representative – Car Care and Industrial Cleaners & DegreasersLocation – Remote (U.S. travel required)MINIMUM OF FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE IN CAR CARE & INDUSTRIAL SALES REQUIREDPosition SummaryThe Car Care & Industrial National Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across the United States by developing new business and expanding existing accounts for a portfolio of car care products and industrial degreasers. This role focuses on consultative selling to automotive, industrial, and fleet distributors; building long-term relationships; and delivering profitable growth through disciplined pipeline management and strategic territory planning.Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary based on experience plus commission (uncapped) Car allowance (as applicable) Travel and expense reimbursement Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Health savings account Flexible spending account 401(k) with 5% company match Paid time off and holidays Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities nationwide. Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, product demonstrations, quoting, negotiation, closing, and post-sale support. Grow and retain existing customer accounts through regular engagement, upselling, and cross-selling. Develop and execute an annual territory plan with measurable revenue and margin targets. Build a consistent pipeline of opportunities through outbound activity, networking, and market intelligence. Account & Channel Management Expand presence in distribution channels (industrial supply, automotive aftermarket, jan/san, chemical distributors). Work collaboratively with distributor sales teams to increase product pull-through. Establish pricing, product mix, and contract terms aligned with company margin objectives. Support key accounts with product training, usage recommendations, and performance validation. Technical & Field Support Conduct on-site evaluations and product demonstrations at customer facilities and service locations. Recommend proper degreaser and car care solutions based on application requirements, equipment, and safety considerations. Collaborate with internal technical teams to solve customer cleaning challenges and improve performance outcomes. Ensure customers understand proper dilution ratios, dwell times, dwell conditions, and safe handling practices. Forecasting & Reporting Provide weekly/monthly reports on pipeline health, customer activity, wins/losses, and market trends. Track competitive activity and recommend product, pricing, or promotional strategies based on field insights. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations, customer service, marketing, and product development to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Support product launches, trade shows, and industry events as assigned. Required Qualifications Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas Experience selling through distribution Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to travel extensively (typically 50–75%+) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of alkaline/solvent cleaners, degreasers, and car care chemicals (applications, dilution, safety, performance factors) Existing relationships with distributors or large fleet/industrial accounts Experience with product demonstrations and application-based selling Familiarity with SDS/label compliance and general chemical safety standards Skills & Competencies Self-starter with strong time management and territory planning skills Consultative, solution-oriented sales approach Strong communication and presentation ability (in-person and virtual) Comfortable working independently and coordinating across teams High attention to detail for quotes, pricing, and account documentation Strong problem-solving ability in field environments Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent travel by car and air; overnight travel required Ability to conduct on-site visits in industrial and automotive environments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (samples, display materials)
