As a Travel Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non-pharmacologic interventionsConduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and supportCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approachProvide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modificationsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plansParticipate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize patient care deliveryPerform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditionsTravel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site careMaintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverageRequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facilityActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician licenseDEA LicenseCPR BCLS/BLS certifiedMust hold a Master's Degree in NursingCompleted a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programA year of experience in Neurology Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training providedMust have great organizational and time management skillsReliable transportationMust be willing to travel to different nursing homes within the state of New York (100% commitment)Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per dayBenefits:Competitive salary: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00HealthDentalVision401KCompany-Sponsored Life InsurancePaid Time OffMalpractice InsuranceWhy Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniorsWork in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentEnjoy work-life balance Equal Opportunity EmployerInfinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
