Together, we champion continuous innovation and collaboration in our shared mission to redefine senior care across the country.Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and compassionate Travel Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with experience in Pulmonology to join our team and support patients in the Patient Health Management (PHM) program. As a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditionsDiagnose and treat common respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumoniaDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factorsPrescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programsEducate patients and their families on the importance of proper disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modificationsPerform diagnostic procedures, such as spirometry, chest X-rays, and arterial blood gas analysisMonitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessaryTravel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site careMaintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverageRequirementsMinimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facilityActive and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician licenseDEA LicenseCPR BCLS/BLS certifiedMust hold a Master's Degree in NursingCompleted a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner programA year of experience in Pulmonology or respiratory carePreferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training providedMust have great organizational and time management skillsReliable transportationMust be willing to travel to different nursing homes within the state of New York (100% commitment)Benefits:Competitive salary: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00HealthDentalVision401KCompany-Sponsored Life InsurancePaid Time OffMalpractice InsurancePaid subscription to UpToDateWhy Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniorsWork in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentEnjoy work-life balance Equal Opportunity EmployerInfinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
