The Laundry Attendant supports the hotel's daily operation by cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing linens and terry to ensure a continuous supply for guest rooms and hotel departments. This role maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency while contributing to a positive guest experience through behind-the-scenes excellence. Key Responsibilities Laundry Operations * Sort, wash, dry, fold, and stack hotel linens, terry, and other laundry items according to established standards. * Operate and maintain laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers/presses as applicable) safely and properly. * Follow proper chemical usage, dilution, labeling, and storage guidelines. * Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear; treat stains and remove items from circulation when necessary. Inventory & Organization * Maintain accurate par levels and communicate shortages or linen needs to the supervisor. * Keep laundry and linen storage areas clean, organized, and stocked. * Deliver clean linens to appropriate locations and collect soiled linens as needed. Quality, Safety & Standards * Maintain cleanliness of laundry room, equipment, floors, drains, and work areas throughout the shift. * Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and safe lifting/moving practices. * Comply with hotel policies, sanitation standards, and brand expectations. * Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed to support hotel operations. This is an hourly position with a compensation of $19 per hour.
